| Comments: | It is truly ironic how history gets distorted so easily. I wonder how many people who agree with your story actually lived in Malta during WWII. The Maltese cheered when Pisani was executed, and rightfully so. The Italians had no qualms whatsoever on dropping bombs on civilian homes and even churches. Anyone who considered the British cruel masters need only look at what the Italians did in Ethiopia. British colonial rule was not all roses, but the British did provide Maltese with education, medical facilities, sanitation and food (albeit rationed during the war).
